What happens in med school...

1. You learn more than you ever cared to know about everything pertinent (and sometimes not so pertinent) to the human body.

2. You become exceedingly comfortable with talking about said knowledge which leads to uncomfortable eavesdroppers at the local village inn.

3. You learn how to be efficient 80 hours per week, and after 30 hours straight and wonder why other people complain about working 40.

4. When you are around said person complaining about his/her work week you hold back the reflex to vomit in your mouth.

5. You learn to eat when you can, sleep when you can, and don't argue when someone tells you to go home.

6. Free pizza at lunch is a gift and you should take it every time

7. You will get fat (see #6)

8. You become a crappy friend and even worse significant other

9. You will inevitably have love/hate cycles with your classmates (over and over again).

10. Don't believe people when they tell you interview season is "fun". It sucks. It's exhausting. You will get even fatter and and your bank account will become anorexic (i.e. gear up for some major credit card debt).

JEALOUS ANYONE?
